Paper Secrets August 15th Sketch

It has been an absolutely crazy summer with 2 road trips between Texas and North Carolina, a trip to Los Angeles, and a super super insanely busy work schedule.  As I come up for air, I am trying to get back into scrapping and loved the sketch Paper Secrets  posted for their August 15th sketch.  In addition to a great online shop, they also co-hosted a blog hop recently with Practical Scrappers.  While the hope is officially over, you might want to check out everyone's sites - I found some great desingers who work I hadn't seen before and great inspiration.

Onto the layout...the photos are from one of many stops on my summer road trips - this time in Lynchburg TN where the town square is very charming and traditional with wonderful shops including the Moon Pie General Store.  Moon Pies are a southern tradition and this shop had every flavor ever made and every possible piece of Moon Pie memorabilia.  The blue and white papers from My Minds Eye Lush collection; background paper is from Lily Bee Designs Buttercup collection; yellow polka dot paper is from MME Lost & Found.  Red ribbon is from American Crafts Chap collection.  In addition to using the sketch from Paper Secrets, I also added the challenge twist of using 5 or more buttons (I added 6 in total).  I skipped adding a title as I felt there was so much going on as is and instead let the Moon Pie logo embellishment act as the title.  What more needed to be said?

Enjoy and don't forget to check out the Paper Secrets shop!
